Which Chinese bike to buy in India: Zontes, QJ, Keeway or Benelli

All four brands, plus Moto Morini, are sold and serviced in India by the same distributor, so the badge changes but your dealer does not, which makes warranty, price and parts the only things worth choosing on.

If you are looking at a Zontes 350X, a QJ Motor SRK 400, a Keeway V302C or a Benelli TRK 502X, here is the fact that decides most of it. All of them come to you through one company. Adishwar Auto Ride India's own after sales site lists five brands under its roof: Benelli, Keeway, QJ Motor, Zontes and Moto Morini. The name on the tank changes. The showroom, the trained technicians and the genuine parts chain behind it do not.

That makes the choice simpler than brand loyalty arguments suggest. Compare the warranty, the price and whether there is an authorised workshop in your city, and stop worrying about which badge is "more reliable" in India.

What the warranty actually gives you

The warranties are not the same across the group, and this is where the real difference sits. Keeway India states a 2 year, unlimited kilometre warranty as standard on all its products. Benelli India's own release for its Bhubaneswar dealership states a 3 year unlimited kilometre warranty as standard, with 24x7 roadside assistance. If you ride long distances on a 500cc twin, that extra year and the assistance line are worth more than a colour option.

The same distributor sells annual maintenance contracts, and its terms page is specific: contracts run for 1 or 2 years depending on the model, cover 12,000 to 24,000 km, include 4 to 9 scheduled services, and offer discounts of up to 33 per cent on maintenance. It also says you are price protected if service part prices rise during the contract, and that the contract transfers if you sell the bike. Ask for that quote in writing before you book, because it tells you what the bike costs to keep, not just to buy.

Benelli's 500cc range sits at the top. Its May 2025 dealership release listed the Leoncino 500 at ₹4,99,000, the 502C at ₹5,25,000, the TRK 502 at ₹6,20,000 and the TRK 502X from ₹6,70,000, all ex-showroom. Keeway is the cheap way in, with the SR 125 at ₹1.29 lakh, the SR 250 at ₹1.59 lakh and the V302C bobber at ₹4.49 lakh. QJ Motor's four bikes run from ₹1.37 lakh for the SRC 250 to ₹3.99 lakh for the SRK 400.

Zontes is the value pick on paper. Its India site lists the 350X at ₹2,37,000 ex-showroom with a 348cc liquid cooled single making 38.8 HP and 32.8 Nm, a six speed box, dual channel ABS, inverted forks and a digital display with phone mirroring. For that money, in that class, nothing from the big Indian brands matches the spec sheet.

The trade-offs you accept

Dealer density is the first one. These brands sell in tens of cities, not hundreds, so a breakdown far from a metro means a flatbed or a long wait. Second, you carry the resale risk of a low volume import, and no official page will quantify that for you. Third, a shared network means a shared parts pipeline, so ask the dealer how long a crash part takes to arrive before you sign.

Finally, do not hold out for a brand that has not landed. CFMoto's India plans are on hold, with its unnamed local distributor telling Autocar India that planning and operational activities are paused while the global team studies the market and the higher GST on bikes above 350cc. The 450MT was meant to arrive in mid 2025 as a CKD import. Buy the bike that has a service centre today.
