Spy shots, then an official reveal

Royal Enfield's biggest motorcycle yet was photographed without any camouflage during what looked like a commercial shoot in the Niti valley of Uttarakhand. Rushlane published those images on 1 October 2026, crediting photographer Siddharth Pathak, and showed three Himalayan 750 test bikes in four paint schemes, some on alloy wheels and some on tubeless spoked wheels, carrying soft luggage. The same week, Autocar India ran its own set of near production spy photographs and called an EICMA launch imminent.

Royal Enfield itself teased the Himalayan 750 on 1 November, ahead of EICMA 2026 in Milan, confirming cruise control and a tyre pressure monitor without giving full numbers. On 3 November, at the show, the company gave the motorcycle its complete public unveiling with full specifications and UK pricing, reported that day by Autocar India.

What Royal Enfield confirmed at EICMA

The Himalayan 750 runs a new 743cc air and oil cooled parallel twin engine making 55 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, with 90 percent of that torque available from 3,500 rpm, Autocar India's report from the reveal says.

It gets a six speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch, 43mm Showa upside down forks and a Showa monoshock, twin 280mm front discs that are a first for a Royal Enfield, and a six axis IMU running cornering ABS and lean sensitive traction control on a 4 inch TFT display. Kerb weight is 224kg in India spec against 223kg in the UK spec, the fuel tank holds 17.8 litres, and seat height options run from 795mm to 835mm around a standard 815mm. Buyers can choose alloy or tubeless spoked wheels in five colours Royal Enfield names as Antarctic Silver, Siberia White, Aztec Green, Viking Bronze and Tectonic Black.

In the UK, Royal Enfield has opened bookings at three prices depending on wheels and trim.

What is still unknown for India

Royal Enfield has not named an India launch date or an India price. Autocar India's 3 November report says the brand expects to launch the Himalayan 750 soon and estimates an Indian price near ₹5.25 lakh ex showroom, a figure the site itself labels expected. Earlier spy reports from Autocar India and Rushlane had pointed to a lower expected price near ₹4.5 lakh, so even the estimate has moved as more information has come out.

The date most Indian riders are watching is Royal Enfield's own Motoverse festival, running from 27 to 29 November 2026 in Vagator, Goa, which the brand is marking as its 125th anniversary edition, according to Autopunditz. Royal Enfield has not put the Himalayan 750 on its published Motoverse schedule yet, so even that date stays expected rather than confirmed. Until Royal Enfield issues an India price list and a launch date, every figure in this story beyond the EICMA specification sheet and UK prices should be read as expected, not final.
