This is the finale of the 2026 Indian Racing Festival, so two championships run on the same weekend. The FIA Formula 4 Indian Championship and the Indian Racing League, the city-team series, share the bill. The Free Press Journal's report on the calendar release says the Navi Mumbai round is a night race near Palm Beach Road, the second night race in the festival's history after Chennai in 2024, and that the weekend streams live on JioHotstar and Star Sports if you cannot get there.
What the lap looks like, and where you stand
Published figures for the layout do not match exactly, so treat the number as provisional. The calendar release carried by the Free Press Journal says 3.69 km. Autocar India, reporting the earlier postponement, described a 3.753 km circuit starting at Palm Beach Road and running alongside Nerul Lake. A later Free Press Journal report from the site puts it at roughly 3.7 km with 14 turns, floodlit, using Palm Beach Road and the stretch near Nerul.
That same report says concrete barricades and safety nets are going up along Palm Beach Road, and that the arrangement is meant to let spectators watch from behind the barricades while cutting the risk of injury. Street circuits are not racetracks with grandstands and run-off, so expect to be standing close to a wall with limited sightlines down the road, and expect roads in the area to be affected while the circuit is in place.
Step by step, and one warning
- Pick your day. Both 5 and 6 December are ticketed separately on the District listing, and both start at 5:00 PM.
- Buy online in advance. Entry starts at ₹2,999 on the listing, with higher tiers shown as "onwards", and children aged 7 and above need their own ticket.
- Reach early. Gates open at 4:30 PM and seating is unreserved, so arriving at 5:00 PM for an open stand is a gamble.
- Plan for a night event in Nerul. The circuit uses public roads near Palm Beach Road, so build in time for traffic and barricaded diversions.
- Carry ear protection if you are taking a child. F4 cars are loud at close range in a built-up area.

The warning: this race has slipped before. Autocar India reported that the Navi Mumbai leg was dropped from the 2025 to 26 calendar and pushed to the season starting August 2026, and the Free Press Journal notes it was first scheduled for December 2025. Racing Promotions first announced the street race in September 2025 on its own news page. Book the tickets, but do not book expensive flights or hotels for this one until the weekend is closer and the organisers confirm again.
For the record, the rest of the 2026 festival ran at Kari Motor Speedway, the Madras International Circuit on 22 and 23 October and the Buddh International Circuit on 31 October to 1 November and 28 to 29 November. Navi Mumbai is the one that puts the cars on a public road.
