Maruti Suzuki Grand VitaraMaruti Suzuki put a new accessory kit on the Victoris on 24 October, called the Aurum Edition, priced at ₹22,990 for the whole package. It is not a new variant and it does not change the car mechanically. It is a dealer fitted styling kit, sold only on the strong hybrid versions of the SUV, and it marks the Victoris completing a year on sale.

What ₹22,990 actually buys
The outside gets copper coloured inserts on the front, side and rear skid plate designs, plus copper on the wheel arches. On top of that there is a set of chrome garnishes for the front grille, the fenders, the bumpers, the body side mouldings and the door visors. Inside, you get all weather 3D cabin mats, a 3D boot mat and a rear boot sill guard.
That is the full list. No suspension change, no exhaust, no extra power, no bigger wheels. Think of it as the showroom version of the chrome and copper trim run that any accessory shop in Karol Bagh or Kurla will happily sell you, bundled into one part number and fitted before delivery.
The reason it is worth taking seriously is the way it is sold. Maruti's own accessories page says its parts are designed to match a specific make and model and promises what it calls guaranteed expert fitment, with installation booked at the owner's convenience. The same page warns that prices and schemes prevailing at the time of the invoice apply, so ₹22,990 is today's number, not a locked one. Because everything here clips, sticks or bolts to existing mounting points and leaves the body structure and powertrain alone, the kit stays an accessory line on your invoice rather than a change to the car's specification.
Strong hybrid only, which sets the entry price
The catch is the eligibility. The Aurum Edition is offered only on the Victoris strong hybrid, and those variants run from ₹16.43 lakh for the VXI to ₹19.99 lakh for the ZXI Plus (O), all ex-showroom. If you bought the mild hybrid or the CNG Victoris, this kit is not on your order form.
- VXI₹16.43 lakhPrices as listed in October 2026, ex-showroom
- ZXI₹17.85 lakhThe Aurum Edition kit is an extra ₹22,990 on top of these
- ZXI (O)₹18.44 lakh
- ZXI Plus₹19.52 lakh
- ZXI Plus (O)₹19.99 lakh
| Item | Ex-showroom price |
|---|---|
| VXI | ₹16.43 lakh |
| ZXI | ₹17.85 lakh |
| ZXI (O) | ₹18.44 lakh |
| ZXI Plus | ₹19.52 lakh |
| ZXI Plus (O) | ₹19.99 lakh |

So the realistic ask is roughly ₹16.66 lakh to ₹20.22 lakh ex-showroom once the kit is added, before insurance and registration. Maruti says the Victoris reached its first 1 lakh and 1.5 lakh sales faster than any other passenger vehicle in India, which is the sort of milestone that usually earns a car a cosmetic edition rather than a mechanical one.
How it stacks up against rivals and the aftermarket
Measured against what other carmakers charge for a styling package, ₹22,990 is mid table. Tata's Sierra Dark Edition, launched on 21 September, asks ₹20,000 extra on the Pure L trim and ₹30,000 on every variant above it, but that money buys a Friesian Black paint finish, blacked out trim and badges, darkened alloys and a reworked cabin with violet accents. It is built on the line, so you cannot buy it as a retro fit.
A local trim shop will undercut Maruti's figure on chrome strips and floor mats, and often by a wide margin. What it will not give you is the dealer's fitment commitment, parts that are made for the exact panel gaps of your car, or a single invoice line that a future buyer can see. For an owner who wants the copper and chrome look and intends to keep the car stock everywhere else, the official kit is the tidier route. For anyone chasing performance, there is nothing here. Maruti still has no equivalent of a Hyundai N Line or a Skoda RS to sell you.

Copper and chrome for 22,990 is fine but restricting it to strong hybrid only feels odd, like they want the hybrid buyer to flex more than the petrol one. On my 450X I just stick with the stock look, no clip on bling available anyway for EVs it seems.
