EICMA 2026 Fills All Ten Milan Halls With 754 Exhibitors, Royal Enfield Confirms Himalayan 750 Debut

The 83rd EICMA opens at Fiera Milano Rho on 3 November as the venue's biggest edition ever, with Royal Enfield's Himalayan 750 world premiere and a returning TVS stand giving Indian readers two reasons to stay up late.

While Europe's car shows argue about their own relevance, the world's largest two-wheeler exhibition has quietly booked every hall it can find. EICMA announced in mid-October that its 83rd edition, running 3 to 8 November 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho, will occupy all ten exhibition halls for the first time since the show moved to Rho, more than 300,000 sq m, 754 exhibitors and 2,120 brands from 52 countries, with 74 per cent of those brands based outside Italy. Trade and press days are 3 to 4 November. The public gets in from 5 to 8 November.

The organisers are leaning hard on spectacle: a new 1,000 sq m Speed Legends exhibition built with MotoGP, pairing over 30 historic premier-class racers with the five bikes contesting the 2026 season. A returning Dakar Rally display with ASO. An 8,000 sq m "Y.U.M." test-ride area with more than 40 vehicles from ten exhibitors. And MotoLive's riding and freestyle arena. EICMA CEO Paolo Magri said the figures "demonstrate EICMA's continuing ability to attract investment, welcome new companies and represent the global motorcycle industry."

Two Indian stands worth watching

For Indian readers, Milan is effectively a home game this year. On 27 October, Royal Enfield posted a teaser with the coordinates 45.4647° N, 9.1885° E. Milan, and confirmed that the Himalayan 750 will be revealed at EICMA, as reported by Autocar India. The bike has already been seen uncamouflaged at Royal Enfield's own Himalayan Basecamp gathering, and Autocar India expects a roughly 750cc parallel twin derived from the 648cc architecture, cruise control, traction control, adjustable suspension, twin front discs and a 19-inch front wheel in place of the current 21-inch. The magazine pegs an expected India price of about ₹4.50 lakh, which would place it a clear step above the Himalayan 450, treat that as an estimate until Royal Enfield says otherwise.

TVS Motor Company confirmed on 26 October that it returns to EICMA a year after its Milan debut, with a press conference at 10:00 CET on 3 November at Hall 18, Stand I64, where it will show new models aimed specifically at Europe. The commercial context is the interesting part: TVS says its Italian retail sales are up 110 per cent year-to-date through September against a market growing around 10 per cent, with Italy followed by national sales companies in France and Germany, and planned presence in Greece and Serbia by end-2026 and Romania by March 2027. Chennai-built two-wheelers being specced for Milan rather than merely exported there is the shift to watch.

Paris says the shows aren't dying, just different

The "motor shows are finished" narrative took a hit a week earlier. The Mondial de l'Auto closed in Paris on 18 October after six days, announcing 518,372 visitors, about 10,000 more than 2024, with over 60 carmakers, more than 100 exhibitors, 6,000 test drives, and 5,000 accredited press and content creators, half of them international. Show director Serge Gachot used the results to trail an expanded 2028 edition in October, stretched over two weekends and moving within Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles.

America's November is stacked too: the SEMA Show runs 3 to 6 November at the Las Vegas Convention Center, while AutoMobility LA is on 19 November at the Los Angeles Convention Center, built this year around energy, autonomy and entertainment, ahead of the LA Auto Show's public run from 20 to 29 November. The pattern across Paris, Milan and Las Vegas is consistent: shows anchored to a real consumer market, with bikes to ride and cars to drive, are still filling halls. The ones that were only press-conference stages are the ones that went quiet.

19 inch front on the 750 is the bit that gets me. My 450 runs 21 and that's half the reason I bought it, for the trail stuff. If RE is chasing a more road biased twin, is it even replacing the 450 or sitting next to it. ₹4.50 lakh expected price also feels optimistic for twin cylinder plus all that kit.
