Service reminder season is here for a lot of us, so a small nudge. The XUV700 schedule is 10,000 km or one year, whichever comes earlier, and it is that second half that catches those of us doing low kilometres. If you cover 7,000 km in a year the odometer says wait and the calendar says go. The calendar wins.

Mine is the AX7 L diesel AT in Midnight Black and I book on the date, not the number. The thing I keep in the back of my head is Spinny's five year running cost break up (https://www.spinny.com/blog/mahindra-xuv700-running-cost-breakdown-5-year-service-cost-fuel-cost/), where year three is the heavy one at roughly ten and a half thousand on the diesel, because filters and fluids land in the same visit.

So if yours is heading into its third year, keep a bit aside and book the slot early. Festive week bays fill up fast, and a rushed service is how small things get skipped.
