Old Thar to Roxx AT, is the 5 star BNCAP jump worth it?

Driving my old Thar which only managed a modest rating in its Global NCAP test years back. Saw on CarWale that the new Roxx scored a full 5 star in Bharat NCAP, top marks for adult protection. Monsoon season is just about done here in Mysuru and I keep wondering if that rating jump actually shows up on wet roads or if it's mostly lab numbers. Anyone who moved from the old Thar to Roxx AT, did you feel a real difference in wet braking or stability on ghat sections?
