A Seltos run to Srisailam, if the ghat gates behave

Been eyeing a longer drive out of the city now that the monsoon mess is clearing, and Srisailam keeps coming up whenever the club talks weekend routes. It's about 213 km from Hyderabad, running on NH765 past Kalwakurthy, with the last stretch cutting through the Amrabad Tiger Reserve, hairpins all the way down to the dam and back up to the temple town. One thing I didn't know till I read this guide: the forest road on that ghat shuts for the night at 9 and doesn't reopen till morning, so timing the climb matters as much as the car does. Winter into February looks like the window, roads drier and the reservoir side cooler for photos. Get the DCT fluid and coolant dates checked before you point the nose that way, and don't skip brake fluid on a route with that much descending and climbing right after.
