Our GTX Plus and the Creta SX(O) share the exact 1.5 turbo and 7 speed DCT, so you'd think the debate ends there. It doesn't.
Autocar India ran both back to back and the Creta's ARAI figure came in a shade higher, 18.4 kmpl against our 17.5, and it held a small real world edge too. What I keep hearing from owners on both sides is the ride. Creta folks call theirs plusher over broken Hyderabad roads, while most of us GTX Plus owners trade that off for sharper handling and a cabin that still feels sportier. Resale and dealer network usually swing toward the Creta too.
