Sun control film on the Seltos: the 2021 rule allows it, the shop's darkest roll still doesn't

My GTX Plus has that lovely big sunroof, which in a Hyderabad April is basically a skylight into a tandoor. So film comes up every time I park next to another Seltos at a drive meet.
Here is the bit most accessory shops skip. Rule 100 was amended from April 2021 to allow safety glazing film if it is certified, and the Kerala High Court has said compliant film cannot be fined, as this piece explains. The limits are 70 percent light through the windscreen and rear glass and 50 percent on the sides. The ceramic roll a shop calls "mild" is often far darker than that, and then you are arguing with a constable holding a meter.
I keep going back and forth. Better cabin, worse reversing down a narrow Jubilee Hills lane at night.
Tell me what you actually fitted, and whether the invoice mentioned IS 2553 or just said "sun film".
