650 twin or the new 450 single: which one actually wins on ghat days?

Been chewing on this one for a while. My Interceptor loves the open curves on Tamhini once the tar is clean, but every time we hit a broken patch near Varandha I watch the Himalayan 450 riders in our group just float over it.

Owners report the Himalayan's 230mm ground clearance against the Interceptor's 174mm, and that gap shows the moment a ghat road turns into craters. My twin also carries more weight, 218kg versus 196kg for the 450, which I feel the second I'm hauling it upright after a slow U-turn on a hairpin. Numbers are from BikeWale's comparison if you want to dig deeper.

What the 650 gives back is that twin pull once the road opens up, and honestly nothing beats that sound echoing off a ghat wall. So where do you land, clearance and ease on the broken stuff, or torque and character once it's flowing? Vote in the replies, I'm curious which way this club actually leans.
