Filled up at my usual pump near Thiruvanmiyur on Tuesday and spent the whole wait reading our newsroom piece on the CBG blending obligation: why your CNG now has biogas in it.

Short version, the blending went from voluntary to mandatory this financial year and rises in steps, 1 percent now and 3 percent next year, as the minister laid out. So the gas going into our tanks is slowly becoming a slightly different mix.

Honestly I cannot tell any difference in how mine pulls on the ECR stretch, and at single digit percentages I would not expect to. But I am curious whether anyone here has noticed anything at all, in the range you see between fills or in how smoothly it idles in Chennai traffic.

Also keen to hear from the Delhi and Pune folks, since your CGD networks move faster on this than ours. Any change you can actually feel, or is this purely a policy story for now?
