Light bars on a Punch: what's actually legal for our night ECR runs

Every third Punch I spot at a highway dhaba lately has a light bar bolted to the bumper, chasing better throw for those night runs down the ECR. I get the appeal, the stock projector on our iCNG starts to feel thin past Mamallapuram once the road goes dark and empty.
So I went looking at what's actually road legal, and the fitters at accessory shops rarely mention the real limits. Four lights total up front, output capped near 3000 lumens, and anything mounted above 1.5 metres or on the roof fails outright because of the glare it throws at oncoming traffic. It's laid out clearly here: https://nandicaraccessories.com/blogs/news/thinking-of-a-19-000-lumen-light-bar-for-night-highways-the-law-says-no-where-auxiliary-lights-are-actually-highway-in-india-2026
My Tornado Blue stays stock on this one. The factory fog lamps do enough for me and I'd rather not argue height limits with a traffic cop near Thiruvanmiyur at midnight. If you've fitted something within those limits, what did you use and how much did it set you back?
