Walk into most accessory shops here and the first upsell on a Punch is a chrome nudge bar across the nose. It suits the stance, I will admit that much. It is also the one mod I have decided to leave off my Tornado Blue iCNG.
Partly it is the paperwork. The Tribune's report on the MoRTH advisory treats crash guards and bull bars as a Section 52 violation, with a thousand rupee fine on a first offence. Mostly though it is what the ministry said about occupants and pedestrians. The front of this car is built to deform and tell the airbag sensors what happened. Bolting steel across it changes that conversation, and not in my favour.
My accessory money goes to underbody treatment and a thick boot mat, since the cylinder means everything gets dragged over one lip anyway.
