Nexon EV LR or XUV400: which one actually wins the range argument?

I keep seeing this one argued at charging points, so let's settle it here. On paper my Nexon EV LR's 45 kWh pack and the XUV400's 39.4 kWh pack look like the Nexon should walk away with it. But Autocar India ran both back to back in real world conditions and the gap nearly closes, Nexon landing around 290 km and XUV400 not far behind at roughly the same mark. Where the XUV400 claws something back is DC fast charging speed, it tops out noticeably higher than my Nexon's ceiling, which matters if you do a lot of highway running.
