Aux lights on the crash guard: the Rule 111 bit I only just read properly

Aux pods are the one accessory I keep circling on my Kaza Brown. Stock LED is honestly fine on a dark ghat, but in dust with oncoming truck beams it washes out, and a pair on the crash guard starts to look sensible for early starts above Kaza.
Then I actually read the legal side. This RTO guide points at CMVR Rule 111, which restricts spot-lights at the front without prior approval from your registering authority, and Rule 108, which keeps you to white or selective yellow facing forward. It lists decent units from about ₹4,250, so money isn't the hurdle.
My bigger worry is the install. Fused relay straight off the battery rather than a spliced tail wire, and aimed low enough that I'm not blinding a Tempo Traveller mid hairpin. Same "is it allowed or just tolerated" question we chased with the inReach piece.
If you have run pods through a full Spiti week, did the aim hold after the washboard sections?
