Stock CEAT tyres on the 450, swap before a track day or chance it?

Thinking of booking a track day on the 450 and was reading up before committing. Saw this review saying the stock Ceat Gripp lacks grip on road and off, and flat out calling it not a first choice for track use. Now wondering if I should just swap tyres before the slot instead of finding out mid session. Anyone actually run the 450 stock on track, how bad was it, and what did you move to after.
