5000 km service but oil change only at 10000, anyone skipping the in between visit?

Saw this breakdown on motorbabu, RE schedule says service every 5000 km but oil is actually changed only every 10000, the 5000 one is just a check and top up. Feels like a wasted trip to the dealer if nothing's really being replaced. Anyone here still doing the 5000 km visit religiously or just stretching to 10000 and doing it yourself in between? Want to know if skipping the intermediate one actually shows up later.

pranav_bhat· 1 week agoChain lube and tightening at 5000 isn't nothing though, chain stretch on Classic 350 is a real thing if ignored. I'd be more worried about skipping that check than the oil part. Ananya, does the motorbabu page say what happens if you skip the chain adjustment specifically, or just general service items?
