Rear disc with dual channel ABS, actually worth the extra money?

Was reading on Bikedekho that the only real difference between single and dual channel ABS on the Classic 350 is the rear disc vs rear drum, price gap is around 6k. On paper that sounds like a small ask for better rear bite, especially in Mumbai rains and bumper to bumper braking.

Anyone who has ridden both back to back, does the rear disc actually feel different in daily use or is it mostly a resale point people bring up later. Thinking of this for a cousin's purchase, want to know if it's worth insisting on or just marketing talk.

Pranav, haven't ridden both back to back so can't say how different the bite feels, but the maintenance side matters too. Rear disc pads wear faster and need periodic replacement, drum is lower maintenance and fine for city speeds. For a cousin who isn't modifying or riding aggressively, I'd ask if dual channel ABS alone (without rear disc) is even offered, or is it bundled. That's the real question before paying extra.
