Valve clearance check at 10,000 km, anyone actually got it done on time?

Saw on this schedule that valve clearance is supposed to be checked along with the oil and filter at 10,000 km, then again at 20,000 km, not something they do at every regular service. My bike is still short of that mark so haven't experienced it yet.

Does the dealer actually open it up and check every time or do they just skip it unless you specifically ask or there's a tapping noise. Also curious if anyone's clearance was off at 10k and needed adjustment, or if it was fine till 20k. Trying to figure out if I need to remind the service guy or if it's routine for them.

Pranav, same boat, my Classic hasn't touched 10k yet so can't say from experience. But logically valve clearance isn't something you can eyeball like chain slack, needs a feeler gauge and time, so I'd bet most dealers skip it unless the job card specifically lists it. Worth asking service advisor to confirm before they hand the bike back.
