Used Classic 350 buying now, pre or post OBD2B update?

Thinking of picking up a used Classic 350 and reading up on the OBD2B engine update that rolled out before the April 2025 deadline. Saw on Bikedekho that output dropped slightly after the update. Does that actually show up on the road or is it just a number on paper. For someone buying second hand would you specifically hunt for a pre update bike or not bother and focus on chain slack, fork seals, that sort of thing. What would you prioritise?
